I did not mean to write this song. It was kind of an accident. I sat down in the morning after sending my oldest to school, just to play some of my favorite songs. Before I knew it a new original piece was starting to take shape. By nap time for the younger ones that afternoon, it was complete. Hence the name, Impromptu.
